Two creative, down to earth, highly experienced NYC piano teachers,
we will build your lessons carefully
around your individual abilities, preferences and passions
* * *
If you're a beginner - child or adult - we can help you get a great start
by introducing you to the basics of piano music
so that you learn while enjoying yourself
playing your favorite songs
at your own level
We've worked with children and relatives of famous actors, musicians and composers
such as Harrison Ford, Robert de Niro, Mandy Patinkin, George Gershwin, etc.,
as well as with children from every economic and social level.
* * *
If you already are a professional musician, singer or composer
and would like to broaden your keyboard skills,
we'll help you perfect your technique and stage presence
we can give you the benefit of our many years of wonderful experience,
performing on piano, violin, keyboard and voice,
with Classical, Jazz, Blues and Rock Groups,
in a variety of professional situations.
* * *
If you're a music teacher
we'll show you many effective ways
to enable your students to feel their music
~ and love their lessons ~
as well as helping you set up a successful teaching career.

FEES:
Over the years, we have worked with
students from every age and economic level,
ranging from established professionals who can easily afford the highest fees,
to people just starting out who can barely afford the lowest.
We try to work it out so that most of the people drawn to us
can somehow manage to see us - even if only every second or third week.
* * *
On the average, students pay us $80 to $90 for an hour lesson.
Because it's important to us to make ourselves as available as possible we use a sliding scale between $65 and $120,
based on what you feel you can comfortably afford.
*Half hour and Forty-five minute lessons are less expensive*

CANCELLATIONS:
Because we work with so many students with so many different needs
we can't always be as flexible as we would like to be.
When one person wants to make a sudden change
it often results in numerous emails and phone calls back and forth.
Even when a student cancels one or two days before their lesson
we frequently lose time, energy and income.
* * *
In fairness to us and all of our students we need to charge you for cancellations:
1. if you cancel on the same day~ you will be charged the full lesson fee.
2. If you cancel one day before ~ you will be charged half the lesson fee.
* * *
If you are able to reschedule your lesson within the next two days
you will not have to pay any cancellation fee.
